DOGS ASYLUM AND NEW DUMP NEAR CEMETERY

 After the frequent calls of the citizens to Palilula inspections to strengthen surveillance in certain areas of the municipality for violating public sanitation, followed the fast reaction of the municipal leadership. President of Palilula Municipality, Boban Dzunic and his associates, Nenad Pavlovic, Coordinator of communal inspection and Ivona Murge, municipal utility inspector, visited the landfill and an asylum for wild dogs near New Cemetery. Inappropriate waste at the New Cemetery is the responsibility of employees PUC "Gorica". According to municipal inspector Ivona Murge, for a longer period in this region it is formed wild landfills, which is actually a temporary solution to the communal enterprises in waste disposal. Many warnings and applications so far have not yielded expected results.

`MODERNSPORT` CONNECTS PALILULA AND BOTEVGRAD

 Botevgrad in Bulgaria, partner municipality of Palilula Municipality on the project MODERNSPORT that is realized within IPP fund and Programme and cross-border cooperation Bulgaria-Serbia last week visited by new authorities of Palilula Municipality. On this occasion the authorities of these two municipalities Boban Dzunic and Georgi Cvetanov Georgiev with his associates Jordanka Lalcev, president of Assembly and Valentina Ceneva, deputy of president of Municipality, spoke of realization of dynamics of project activities and way of completion of project in Bulgaria and in Serbia. The goal of the project MODERNSPORT is the promotion and development of sport, with construction of sport terrains through the cooperation of authorities in the Region. The value of this investment in Palilula Municipality, that will be realized with support of EU until the end of this year is about 218 481 E.

MUNICIPALITY SUPPORTS DISABLED YOUNG PEOPLE

 President of Palilula Municipality Boban Dzunic had a meeting after the personal demand Jasmina Barac Perovic president of Nis Association of students with disabilities. On this occasion the information about the coming activities of the Municipality that have for their objective the improvement of the position with handicap as well in present practice of support to this category of people in Palilula. The association of students with handicap was founded in Nis eleven years ago thanks to great persistence of Jasmina Barac. Today it is the organization that gathers more than 50 students. Thanks to this Association many students with handicap got great support during studying.

TV ZONA GUEST - PRESIDENT OF PALILULA MUNICIPALITY

 Guest of morning programme of TV Zona on Thursday July 26 2012, edited by Vladimir Stanojevic, was Boban Dzunic, president of Palilula Municipality. President Dzunic spoke of the activities after taking over mandates in Palilula Municipality, about coordination with the members of the Council, employees in Administration of Municipality, associates, continuance of the started projects, reducing poverty and help to socially jeopardized group. Analyzing the sphere of communal activities, president Dzunic spoke about further adaptation and maintaining of Old Cemetery, banks of Gabrovacka river, Crvena Zvezda settlement and Delijski Vis, Bubanj Memorial park, about the infrastructure in village area, as well as about the matters of spreading industrial zones, start of using soil and works in Bubanj after the conversion of the estate of military objects.

SUCCESFULLY COMPLETED ACTION

 Summer campaign of blood donation implemented by the team of the Institution for blood transfusion in Nis with the support of Palilula Municipality is organized in NKC. Ten people voluntaries gave this precious liquid from Palilula, said Dr Biljana Nikolic, assistant to the manager of the Institution and head of Service for blood collection. The action was supported by newly elected Palilula Municipal president Boban Dzunic with his associates. President Dzunic emphasized the importance of good willing blood donation and called the Municipal residents to be also the part of these activities.

HUMANITY AT FIRST PLACE

 Within the summer campaign of voluntary blood giving the team of the Institution for blood transfusion in Nis with the support of Palilula Municipality will collect on Monday July 23 2012 from 12 00 to 15 00 hours in NKC this precious liquid. The call to all good willing blood donors to participate in one more action of this type is open. The action was supported by the president of Palilula Municipality, Boban Dzunic. It is expected that among the good willing donors will be also the workers of the Municipality of Palilula and members of the new authorities of the Municipality.

BOBAN DZUNIC NEW PRESIDENT OF PALILULA MUNICIPALITY

 During the first session of Palilula Municipal Assembly, held on the same day, after the completion of the work of constituting session, new Palilula authorities were elected.With the majority of votes of the councilors, Boban Dzunic, lawyer, from the list `Pokrenimo Palilulu` (Let us start up Palilula), Tomislav Nikolic (SPS, NS, PSS-BK, PS) was elected for the president of Palilula Municipality.Newly elected president of the Municipality was born in 1968. He graduated Law Faculty in Nis, has passed bar exam and has specialization in the sphere of criminal law (defense of the accused of crimes).

 The continuance of Constituent session of Palilula Municipal Assembly was held on Saturday July 14 in the hall of NKC, beginning at 19 00 hours. At the beginning of the session, the verification of the mandates of three councilors was completed of new session of Assembly from SPS –PUPS-JS –Aleksandar Milic and Milos Stojkovic and from the list of Democratic Party of Serbia DSS Dimitanka Rancic Djordjevic. With the decision of the majority of votes of the members of Assembly 25 for and 5 against after the secret voting for the president of Municipal Assembly was elected PhD Igor Novakovic, so far president of Palilula Municipality, SPS list.

CONSTITUTING SESSION CONTINUED ON SATURDAY

 On constituting session of Palilula Municipal Assembly, that was held on July 13 in the hall of NKC and adopted the Report of municipal election commission on determined results on voting for election of the councilors of Palilula Municipal Assembly on the held elections on May 6 and May 13 2012. During this session presided by Ivan Jovanovic, secretary from the previous mandate, the oldest councilor Stojadin Stajic and the youngest councilor Radmila Cvjetkovic the mandates to councilors of new mandate were determined together with organized oaths.

On the agenda is the adoption of the Report of the Municipal Election Commission on the set of results for the Election of Assembly Palilula elections held on 6 May and 13 May 2012; education verification committee and adoption of the report, confirming the mandate of the newly elected council members take the oath.

BATTLE FOR BABIES - TO THE VICTORY!

 With the humanitarian concert of Nis artists on Wednesday July 4 at the stage of Nis Fortress with the beginning at 20 00 will start the campaign BATTLE FOR BABIES- NATIVITY HOSPITALS battle for life and health of our babies. POSTPONED CONSTITUTIVE MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY SESSION

 Constituting session of Palilula Assembly of Palilula Municipality that was appointed for Monday July 2 2012 at 10 00 hours, was postponed for the lack of quorum. According to Ivan Jovanovic, general secretary of Municipality, the councilors by DS, SPS and URS did not come to the session while in the appointed time in Assembly in NKC area in Stanoje Bunusevca bb, were the councilors of Srpska napredna stranka, LDP, DSS and Dveri. The presence of eleven councilors from total 25 were not enough for the quorum, so that this session was not held. New assembly meeting will be organized within the legally given deadline, and the latest date is July 14 2012.
